I am selling a 1.5 year old 150w Sunpod that has been working great on my 29 Gallon Biocube. The original bulb has been replaced with a Phoenix 150W 14K DE Bulb that has been used for about 6 months so has plenty of life left. This light is very popular in the reef community and you'll find a lot of positive reviews online.

Light information:

http://www.progressivereef.com/proddetai...CUSASUNPOD

Bulb was purchased here:
http://oceanaquatics.com/store/product/2...K-DE-Bulb/

Sunpod instructions:

The light does not come with the hanging kit, just the adjustable legs that can fit a maximum width tank of 20".

Ill toss in two timers as well so you can control the metal halide and led's separately.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Looking for $160 OBO.

Trina wasn't paying attention and I went crazy again, muhahahah!!!!

Warning, some of the following content is so sexy that it may be considered illicit

On my last trip over to SE asia i managed to find a few actual true purple LTA's. And I know they were NOT dyed as I was actually there. We did managed to ship back a few on that trip but we also had some quite legthy conversations about how much I would like to get some more of these LTA's. And apparently they listened and managed to not only find what I was looking for, but they also found a bunch of paterns and color combinations I could never have dreamed of!

I'm trying to tell them that if they stay small the costs won't be too bad. I'm also trying to promote the extra bonuses of salt as in the ability to keep invertebrates and crustaceans.
Any suggestions and ideas would be most welcome ... as in tank size, etc.

My new LED light.

(Same thread That I put on ARRG...)

Well, I finally finished my LED fixture...I posted some build pics as well as before/after shots.

I got 96 3w LEDs, along with drivers, fans, hanging kit, power cords, power adapters for the fans and 60 degree optics from aquastyleonline.com. For the moon lights, I used Gloz 1/4w blue LEDs.

For the heatsink, I used 1/4 inch Aluminium (14"X70") cooled by 4 computer fans. I groved the wooden sides to fit the heatsink...

LEDs attached and top side with the drivers

LEDs running

I decided to put half the optics, I didn't want to shock the tank too much...I can always put the other ones or remove these depending on how the tank reacts. This picture is taken with optics with the white plastic sheet still on the splash guard. Then defined circles are the ones with optics.

Finished product:

Now with the before and after shots. My T5 bulbs were ready to be changed and I used bulbs I had home for the last change since I knew the fixture was going to be replaced, so the color was not 100% to my liking...propably around 14K, where I like my tank in the 20K range. The pictures came out more like 16K(not as yellow) for the T5s and the LEDs that are too blue...propably around 22K where I estimate them to be in the 20K range, so the tank is not as blue as those pictures show.

Before:

After:
